VDAB Career Cheques
Popcorn is recognised by VDAB as a mandated career centre. As a result, a career cheque for 45 euros allows you to follow 4 hours of individual tailor-made career coaching. A second career cheque costs 45 euros for 3 hours of coaching. If you meet 5 conditions, you may use career vouchers:
- You live in Flanders or Brussels
- You are currently working full-time or part-time as an employee or self-employed person
- You have a minimum of 7 years' work experience as an employee or self-employed person
- You have not attended career counselling in the last 6 years
- You are willing to undergo career counselling in Dutch

How career guidance works
- You choose a experienced coach from your area
- We start with a free, no-obligation telephone introductory talk lasting about 30 minutes. During this conversation, we listen to your questions and needs and explain to you step by step how we will work together at Popcorn to find your professional recipe. We will also check whether you are entitled to career cheques and explain how to apply for them.
- If you decide to get started, we will put our schedules side by side and make an initial appointment. Depending on your situation, the process will be spread over several months.
- Our Popcorn coaches take an innovative and results-oriented approach and come up with a concrete action plan together with you.
